Ford Motor Company was founded in 1903 and their first constructed car was named Model “C” (1904-1905) 800 produced. Second was Model “F” (1905-1906) 1,000 produced, while, Model “N” followed (1906-1908) with 13,250 cars produced. This model is exhibited in the Museum in a two-seater ‘Runabout’ version. It was constructed in 1906, featuring a four cylinder 15hp engine fitted on a light but robust chassis. Ford models produced after this, were Models “R”, “S”, “T”, “A”, & “B”. Model “T” (1908-1927), had a record production of 15,000,000 cars. This specific Model “N” was acquired by the Museum through auction in Great Britain.
