70 YEARS of PORSCHE and 70 YEARS of LOTUS in HELLENIC MOTOR MUSEUM – THEODORE & JOANNA CHARAGIONIS FOUNDATION
After the end of WWII, year 1948 has been a milestone in car history, with the foundation of two legendary car industries PORSCHE and LOTUS. Thus from 27/6/2018
Hellenic Motor Museum – Theodore and Joanna Charagionis Foundation is celebrating 70 years of PORSCHE; It’s legendary creations, made faithful fans all over the world, thanks to its distinctions in car racing and high-admission cars. Twelve cars will be exhibited covering models range from the beginning to the present day, in cooperation with MOTODYNAMIKI Porsche importer for Greece.
Museum is also celebrating 70 Years of LOTUS, Colin Chapman’s special, lightweight sports and racing cars, with the outstanding performance in racing, in collaboration with TRIDENT CARS, the only official LOTUS dealer in our country.
At the same time, museum is celebrating 70 years of Jaguar XK120, the model that broke speed record for production cars in 1953 at the Jabbeke circuit in Belgium.
Finally, covering visitors wish, Museum maintains the “70 years of Ferrari” exhibition of twelve typical models of the renowned house for 2018, raising anniversary models to 33.
With the constant renewal of its collection, Hellenic Motor Museum – Theodore and Joanna Charagionis Foundation, recently awarded with Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence; is constantly proving its dynamical establishment for foreign visitors in Athens, resulting the dedication of a three-page article in July 2018 issue of “Classic and Sports Car” magazine, the largest magazine for historic car in the world.
