Ferrari Dino 308 GT4

The 308 GT4 was introduced at the 1973 Paris motor show and its production continued until April 1980.
Having the Dino name, it was the first Ferrari production car with a V8 middle-mounted engine. This layout prevailed on production of Ferraris for several decades. The 308 GT4 was also the first Ferrari production car designed by Bertone instead of Pininfarina. In 1976 the Dino badge on the bonnet was replaced by the famous prancing horse at the request of the American dealer. It was acquired by the Museum through auction in Great Britain.
