Stylish, elegant and discreet, the Montreal made its appearance during the “Montreal Expo”, the large global exhibition of the namesake city, where with various events it celebrated the centenary of Canada. Inside the luxurious interior one could find seats with built-in and adjustable cushions while an unusual characteristic was the hydraulically moveable headlight covers. Initially, the Montreal was equipped with the widely used Alfa 4- cylinder twin cam engine but this changed after the Montreal was presented as a low production model at the Geneva Motor Show in 1970 with an all-new V8 engine derived from racing ALFA 33. This specific car was acquired by the Museum through auction in Great Britain and is preserved.
