Back in 1930s, any automobile corporation worthy of the name had to complete its range with a flagship luxury line: Ford had Lincoln, General Motors had Cadillac. Walter Chrysler introduced the Imperial in 1926 and proceeded to its refinement in 1959. Only 555 units of this model were produced at a price tag of $5,774. This particular pink colored car belonged to rock legend Robert Plant, leader of the well-known rock group ‘Led Zeppelin’! This specific car was acquired by the Museum through auction in Paris from another museum.
